First class honours from University of Derby. Studied computer science with a pathway in software engineering that gave me a good starting point in the theory I'll need going forward in this field.
worked on research and writing articles for student and young people mental health. This was a good chance to network and also work on soft skills in a project that wasn't as tech oriented.
12 month contract role with HSS Proservice. I mainly worked to streamline reporting and created data oriented visualisations to help provide actionable insights for decision making.
Studying part time at Open University. I did this more for myself and to give me a branch into the cybersecurity field and work on my theoretical knowledge to apply in my own work down the line. I think it gives me more of a holistic view when approaching problem solving and solution design.
Permanent offer at HSS Proservice as Data and Automation analyst. Still working on reporting but more of a shift now towards designing systems and flows to streamline workflows within the department and teams.
Started blog on substack to write about my experiences in tech and document my thoughts and growth overtime. It gives me a segway to find a community and likeminded people to interact and connect with as I grow.
